Unintended Sentence

I stand and look at them long and long

Alike as two peas in a pod. Then

Grew bored with inactivity, until

I heard the dinner gong

The singer and the song

Footfalls echo in the memory

As I walk in halls of plenty

Unfortunately I tripped upon a chair

Though no one was home to hear

Shadows play with sunshine

Shoot if you must, this old grey head

Will haunt your dreams

Don’t wake me up tomorrow.

Damn, now look what you have done

No, not one more note.
