Inconvenient

Our planet grew a little warmer yesterday

But did it really matter much to me?

I’d say I didn‘t feel it, anyway

Though perhaps tomorrow I’d begin to see

Inconvenient consequence commence

Some people seemed a little crazy on the news tonight

Others, just stark staring mad

Everyone hates everyone else

With killing just an entertainment show

Our own real reality

Spaced between the unreal kind

I’d rather hoped to find another, softer way

Not one found with -isms faith or dogma

Something differentiating well and ill

While leaving space for inner doubt

Not fanatic fierce judgmental hate.
